Heirloom Textiles & Island Wool: Introducing HUNDRED HILLS HOME

A curated series celebrating the makers, artists, and artisans whose work now lives within the walls of Flore’s sensory house. Rooted in craft, story, and soul

With over 30 years of experience in home styling Bronnie James created Hundred Hills Home, offering bespoke styling services for homes and yachts—bringing together timeless design, natural materials, and thoughtful craftsmanship.

Our Salt Spring Island Studio is where the heart of our work happens. Here, we handcraft a range of heirloom-quality wool homewares using natural local wool from the Gulf Islands and Vancouver Island including duvets, “Snugs” (our modern wool lap blankets), custom sofa and mattress toppers, and tailored home linens such as curtains and cushions to suit your style from city spicy to country casual. We also create a range of wool adventure swags and picnic blankets built to last generations.

In 2024 we spent the summer re-working the traditional Japanese cross over apron and Created the HHHApron Dress, made from the linens of the world, stunning and oh so comfortable.

Our range of Sugar & Spice Totes and Market bags are all one of a kind. Our toiletry bags are lovingly made by one of our Artisan creators from vintage, natural linens & textiles chosen for their character, softness and storty. No two are exactly alike. Some bear delicate embroidery, others the gentle fade of time, all with hand made tassel & bead ties and all are stitched with care on Saltspring Island. These bags are practical, beautiful and a small celebration of slow craft and the charm of one of a kind creations

Sustainability is woven into everything we do. We prioritize recycled, vintage  materials and work with responsibly sourced natural fibres to create pieces that are as enduring as they are beautiful.

After 40 years of dreaming, Hundred Hills Home has brought The Greenhouse to life - a thoughtfully gathered collection of timeworn antiques, vintage linens, art and rustic objects and gorgeous potted plants, all nestled inside a charming old greenhouse that we restored ourselves on Salt Spring Island.

At the heart of The Greenhouse is Bronnie’s lifelong obsession with vintage textiles and furniture. Her eye for character-rich fabric and soulful objects guides a collection that feels both personal and timeless. Each piece tells a story—weathered, well-loved, and ready to belong again.Part studio, part sanctuary, The Greenhouse is a celebration of natural beauty, artful living, and the joy of the imperfect. Our Artisans repair and restore fabric and furniture back to its glory days and when we can, we will very cheekily drag that antique into the 21st century with a modern twist just for fun!

At Hundred Hills Home, we believe in living simply, surrounded by things we made with care, patience and love. From our Hands to your Home.

A PARTNERSHIP

I'm beyond thrilled to announce this new collaboration between Hundred Hills Home and Flore on Oak Bay Ave in Victoria. For nearly two years, Ive been quietly searching for the right partner, someone whose space, sensibility and spirit felt like home. From the moment I stepped into Flore and met Stacey, I knew I had found it. Her vision, warmth, toxic enthusiasm and beautifully curated shop wrapped me up tight. When I learned she was expanding her offerings next door the timing just felt right.

We're proud and deeply grateful to be partnering with Stacey and Flore to share our hand made Heirloom Wool & Natural Home goods with you in such a stunning and inspiring space. This is our first outing in Victoria and I couldn't imagine a better place or partner to begin this new chapter

Much Love Bronnie
